Why and When to Use the Pause Feature in Morgis Conversations

At Morgis, the ability to pause conversations is a valuable tool for Hosts who want to manage their time effectively and prioritize more productive interactions. This action is simple and can be done directly within the chat. When a Host decides to pause a conversation, it is automatically moved to the Paused Conversations section in the Message Center. This allows Hosts to clearly see both Active and Paused conversations.

But why pause a conversation on Morgis? There are many reasons, but let's start with time management because we want to ensure your invested time is valued.

Since Hosts often manage multiple conversations simultaneously, pausing a conversation can help prioritize more active and engaging interactions, ensuring that the Host can provide quality interaction with each Guest/Friend. After all, not all conversations are equally productive.

Hosts can choose to pause interactions that are stagnant or not leading to significant engagement, thus focusing on Guests/Friends who show greater interest and potential for monetization. Therefore, pausing a conversation can serve as a reminder to the Guest that the interaction and your time are valuable and that resuming the conversation requires a gesture of commitment, such as sending Morgis through exclusive and valuable content, supporting a Host’s Goal, or even subscribing monthly. This demonstrates the Friend's real interest in maintaining that connection.

Beyond valuing time, at Morgis, we want to ensure that Hosts have the ability to pause conversations if the Guest/Friend is being rude, offensive, or displaying inappropriate behavior that violates the platform’s terms of use and policies, or simply straying into undesirable and inappropriate topics.

It is possible to unpause a connection if the Host regrets pausing a conversation with a Guest. This feature provides more flexibility, allowing the Host to resume interactions that initially seemed less productive but could turn into meaningful and profitable connections. To unpause, simply access the paused conversations section in the Message Center and choose to reactivate the conversation, offering a second chance for engagement with the Guest.

However, it is crucial to use this feature with caution to avoid regrets and hasty decisions, as pausing a conversation prematurely can result in the loss of a connection that could have become significant and lucrative. A Guest who seems disinterested initially might be testing the platform or needing a bit more time to open up.
