Understanding the Role of Agents and Representatives on Morgis

On Morgis, agents and representatives have been integrated into the platform to assist hosts in managing their interactions and business, adapting the agency model to a digital context. This article explains how this structure works and the benefits it offers to hosts looking for strategic support.

The Role of the Agent

When a host joins Morgis, they select an agent who will be responsible for various administrative and management activities. The agent is the host's main contact for managing representatives and overseeing processes such as:

  • Managing Representatives: The agent can assign representatives to help with guest communications.
  • Payments: The agent can view and manage payment status.
  • Message Center: The agent verifies and organizes incoming messages, ensuring smooth communication.
  • Account Control: The agent can assist with account exit or deletion if needed.

Each agent can work with as many hosts as they like, but a host can only have one agent, ensuring centralized and effective management.

The Role of the Representative

Representatives are responsible for directly communicating with guests on behalf of the host. They play a vital role in user interaction and retention, ensuring messages reach the right audience. There are two types of representatives:

  1. Conversion Representative: This representative is responsible for messaging new guests, helping build the initial relationship with the host.
  2. Retention Representative: This representative focuses on maintaining communication with guests already connected to the host, encouraging continued engagement.

Both types of representatives have access to the Message Center and can send broadcast messages to communicate with the audience. The presence of representatives allows the host to have strategic support for different goals, whether attracting new guests or retaining those already connected.

Host Control Over Representatives

The host has full control over the representatives’ activities on their account. If they are not satisfied with the updates or interactions performed by a representative, the host can choose to block the representative. This feature provides greater security and control, ensuring that the host always has an experience aligned with their expectations.
